Look for MLC's "new" website look in late June. Functionality is basically the same, but we gave her a facelift!
Other things in the works....
Email system for both public libraries and mlc staff being rebid as current contract will expire in December 09. We do not intend to change features or functions. Libraries will still receive free Plesk email accounts and webmail access. MLC staff will receive exchange accounts and webmail access.
MLC's ARRA Broadband "Stimulus" proposal at the Governor's office; we hope to be funded on some or preferably all of the 7 initiatives in our proposal. The Governor set up a committee to review proposals (applications to the governor). It is my understanding they had 65 applicants. We had a very good meeting with the Governor's representative and present our plan; and we are anticipating hearing something good soon!!
